The Quartering Jeremy Hambly Thinks the Reflecting Pool is a Swimming Pool
It's unclear why Hambly would think you can swim in the DC reflecting pool.
In a June 22 livestream, Jeremy Hambly, founder of the failing media company The Quartering and the failing coffee company Coffee Brand Coffee, revealed he believes the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C., is a swimming pool.
Hambly did a segment on the reflecting pool during his livestream. The segment included coverage of supposed defacement of the reflecting pool by people pouring “live algae” and cutting out the pool’s liner - acts Hambly attributed to “the Left.”
In introducing the segment on the reflecting pool, Hambly said:
“The Left has hit rock bottom. They used to be out there protesting for actual causes. Now all they have left is vandals and losers ruining swimming pools.”
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is, in fact, not a swimming pool, and attempting to enter it is strictly prohibited. In fact, trying to swim in the reflecting pool would carry the same charges as dumping algae into it or removing its liner.
It’s unclear why Hambly would refer to the reflecting pool as a swimming pool. Sources close to The Quartering, who requested anonymity, say Hambly was particularly inebriated on Xanax, alcohol, and a new Adderall prescription during the livestream, so he may have been acting more retarded than usual.
